Expressions of interest

Perth Children's Occupational Therapy is not currently hiring but welcomes expressions of interest for future vacancies. Days and hours are flexible with most work occurring during school terms. The OT must have their own vehicle to travel between clients within the Perth metropolitan area, either north, south or both.

 

Job requirements

 

Essential

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as an OT with 3-12 year old children with a range of difficulties, including developmental delays, dysgraphia, DCD, autism, ADHD, executive functioning, emotional regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, and handwriting

  • Experience with standardised assessments and comprehensive report writing

  • Effective communication skills

  • High level of organisation and time management skills

  • Ability to work autonomously (though regular supervision and support will be provided)

  • A genuine passion for working with children and their families

  • Current AHPRA registration, First Aid, Working With Children Check and police clearance

  • Use of own car for travel between sessions
